Téa Tamburo

Founder

Téa was adopted from Hunan, China and lives in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, she's studying finance and economics at Case Western Reserve University and serves as the campus news editor. Téa is passionate about advocating for gender equality and was a group leader for Girl Up, United Nations Foundation, where she especially enjoyed serving as a delegate on the U.S. Youth Consultation for UN Climate Strategy. She was recognized in 2021 for her work in community advocacy with the President's Volunteer Service Award, and in 2022, she was named to the Illinois All-State Journalism Team. In her spare time, she enjoys fashion styling and drinking boba and coffee.

Mai Li was adopted from Hunan, China and lives in Seattle, Washington. She is studying at the University of Washington, with a focus on human-centered studies. She wants to make the world more accessible to others and help people.
